I’ve been a fan of comics, design, music and pop culture for as long as I can remember. My interest in comics brought me to the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art, Inc. in 1993. I studied with Joe Kubert and, after graduating in 1996, stuck around to work closely with him on PS Magazine for the U.S. Army and other projects as Senior Art Director of Tell-A-Graphics until he passed in 2012. I have continued this work remotely in Ithaca, NY. For the next chapter in my career, I’d like to use what I’ve learned as a comics packager, a designer, and as an editor to help people create comics.

I enjoy working on comics and design in a variety of contexts. I am proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. I have over 20 years experience managing a team of artists, interacting with clients, and juggling multiple deadlines. I have a strong work ethic and won’t quit until the project is done to my exacting standards.

I get inspiration from the Replacements, old dogs, crime fiction, new and old comics, and building Lego spaceships with my kids. You can often find me outside playing kickball with my family, hiking the local trails, and guzzling coffee at the local diner counter.
